A bright Floridian look was the goal for this bathroom project. The wall separating the toilet and vanities was cut down so the light from the window would benefit the entire room. A shower stall was increased in size from wall-to-wall from the original modular unit, and includes a barn-door, frameless shower door. The 12 x 24" ceramic and porcelain tile are light colors to keep things clean and fresh. The large format floor tile was also used in the shower floor, and the tile over the linear drain was centered to maximize water drainage and offer a clean look. This approach minimizes grout joints in the floor. Custom self-cleaning curb for the shower eliminates watertraps for calcium depots to build.
